How to Format Your Word Storyboard
Storyboard2Rise converts Word storyboards into Articulate Rise courses. To get the best results, your Word document should follow a consistent structure.
Basic Structure
Your Word document should use headings and body text to define the course structure:
- Heading 1 — Becomes a Rise lesson/module
- Heading 2 — Becomes a section within a lesson
- Body text — Becomes the content blocks in Rise
- Bullet lists — Converted to Rise list blocks
- Images — Embedded images are carried into Rise
Tips for Best Results
- Use consistent heading levels — don't skip from H1 to H3
- Keep each section focused on one topic
- Include clear, descriptive headings
- Use standard Word formatting (bold, italic, lists)
What Converts Well
- Text paragraphs
- Bulleted and numbered lists
- Embedded images
- Bold and italic formatting
