Getting Started with Course Editor

Getting Started with Course Editor

Course Editor lets you fix small mistakes in live eLearning courses without rebuilding them. Update text, images, and audio inside published SCORM packages — no authoring files required.

The Problem It Solves

After a course is approved and published, things change:

  • Policies get updated
  • Logos change
  • Dates expire
  • Typos get noticed
  • Audio needs replacing

Rebuilding the entire course just to fix one line is expensive and slow. Course Editor lets you make surgical edits directly to the published output.

What You Can Update

  • Text — Single strings or bulk replacements
  • Images — Swap images while keeping layout
  • Audio files — Replace audio clips
  • Versions and dates — Update timestamps and version numbers

What This Is NOT

Course Editor is not an authoring tool. It will not change layouts, interactions, or logic. If a course needs redesigning, use Rise or Storyline. If it needs a small fix, use this.

How It Works

  1. Upload a SCORM package (ZIP file)
  2. Change exactly what you need — text, images, or audio
  3. Export a patched version ready for your LMS

Supported Formats

  • Articulate Rise — Text and image replacement
  • Articulate Storyline — Text, image, and audio replacement
  • Adobe Captivate — Text, image, and audio replacement

Built for Teams with Real Constraints

  • No original source files? Fine. Works directly with the published output.
  • Hundreds of legacy courses? Works in bulk.
  • Compliance or audit requirements? Every change is logged.
