Creating Polls and CTAs in CourseSignal
Polls and Calls-to-Action (CTAs) are powerful engagement tools in CourseSignal. Polls gather learner input; CTAs drive learners to take action.
Creating a Poll
- Open your course in the CourseSignal dashboard
- Click Create Modal and select Poll
- Write your question
- Add answer options (multiple choice)
- Choose whether to show results to learners after they vote
- Set scheduling and deploy
Poll Use Cases
- Knowledge checks — Quick comprehension questions mid-course
- Confidence polls — "How confident are you about this topic?"
- Preference surveys — "Which topic should we cover next?"
Results are available in real-time in the dashboard.
Creating a Call-to-Action
- Click Create Modal and select Call-to-Action
- Write your CTA message
- Add the action button (link to URL, enrollment page, etc.)
- Set scheduling and deploy
