Quick Start
Step 1: Prepare Your Storyboard
Format your Word document like this:

Step 2: Upload
- Sign in at storyboard2rise.happyalien.ai
- Click "Upload Storyboard"
- Select your .docx file
- Wait 1-3 minutes for processing
Step 3: Review Structure
- View detected lessons
- Check block type assignments
- Adjust AI suggestions if needed
- Approve for building
Step 4: Build in Rise
- Install the Chrome extension
- Open your Rise course
- Click extension icon
- Select your storyboard
- Click "Build" and watch it happen (2-10 minutes)

Tips for Best Results
Document Preparation
- Use .docx format (not .doc)
- Remove tracked changes
- Embed images (don't link)
- Use consistent heading styles
Structure
- Mark content start with "LESSON CONTENT" heading
- Use ## for lesson titles
- One topic per lesson
- Clear, logical flow
Block Marking
For best accuracy, explicitly mark block types:
- "Text: Your paragraph..."
- "List: Item 1, Item 2, Item 3"
- "Image: description"
- "Quote: Important callout"
If not marked, AI will infer block types automatically.
Knowledge Checks
Format like this:

Troubleshooting
Invalid Document Format
- Ensure .docx (not .doc)
- Re-save from Word if corrupted
Missing Content
- Content must come after "LESSON CONTENT" marker

- Adjust in review step
- Use explicit markers in future
Extension Issues
- Ensure you're on rise.articulate.com
- Signed in to Rise
- Refresh page and retry
After Building
- Course builds as a normal Rise course
- Edit freely in Rise after building
- Make any adjustments needed
