Best Practices

Prompt Naming Convention

Use descriptive prompts that double as file names:

  • Bad: "guy in office"
  • Good: "manager explaining project in conference room"

This makes searching easier later.

Regular Backups

  • Download important assets to local storage
  • Keep project-specific folders
  • Back up to cloud storage (Google Drive, Dropbox)

Version Control

If generating variations:

  • Include version info in prompt: "v1", "final", "alternate"
  • Generate all variations in one session for easy comparison
  • Delete unused variations to declutter

Project Organization

For large projects:

  1. Generate all assets in a short time frame
  2. Use consistent keywords in prompts (e.g., "Project X:")
  3. Search by date range to find project assets
  4. Download all at once when complete
